Prospectus
The Art Interview - International Online Artist Competition is an international, juried exhibition of paintings drawings and sculptures in any medium. The competition is run completely over the Internet, which eliminates the need for the artists to send slides or arrange for physical transportation of their artworks. The competition is open to all living artists worldwide, aged 16 and up.
Deadline
The competition is open all year round and prizes are awarded quarterly. Entries accepted into the competition gallery automatically compete for the winning prize every quarter. The results of the competition will only be made public by means of publication in Art Interview Online Magazine. Non-winning entrants will not be individually notified of the results.
Awards/Prizes
All entries that pass the competition screening will participate in the competition gallery online show which is run every quarter throughout the year. All competing artists are given Art Interview Online Magazine's current issue and each past issue for FREE during the quarter they compete.
Cash prizes are determined on the basis of the total number of entries received and will increase as the number of entries received rises, up to a maximum of €10,000 for first place, €5,000 for second place and €2,000 for third place. The cash value of the prizes will be determined at the end of each quarter. A concerted effort is made each quarter to promote the show in the media internationally.

Entry Form/Fees
Entries must be submitted using our official entry form. You may enter the contest as many times as you like. The entry fee of €25 allows you to submit 3 separate artworks in a quarter. Art Interview subscribers are given a €5 discount. Payment via PayPal is required.
What to Enter
BIOGRAPHY: Each artist is asked to provide a short biography listing education, exhibitions and awards.
STATEMENT: Each artist is asked to provide an artist statement, not to exceed 200 words.
ARTWORKS: Each artist must provide three examples of their work per submission. All entries, without exception, are required to be in the following digital format:

Each image must be 72 dpi (dots per inch). |

No image may exceed a maximum resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels per inch. |

All images must be in jpg format. |
Photography will not be considered. See our competition FAQ for more information. Entries must not be copies, derivatives, or based in any way on other copy-righted or published paintings, photographs or other artistic works. They must be entirely the work of the entrant, executed without the supervision of an instructor.
Competition Selection
Entries will be screened by a selection committee for acceptance into the competition gallery. All properly prepared entries will be taken into consideration.
Competition Gallery
The competition gallery is Art Interview Online Magazine's virtual art exhibition. It contains reproductions of all entries that pass the competition screening. Every entry that makes it into the competition gallery qualifies for a chance to win our first, second or third place prizes.
Judging and Notification
The quarterly award winners will be selected from the competition gallery by an international panel of judges. The decision of the judges is final.
