Baerwaldt is curator of the Zone-B Exhibition at the Scotiabank Nuit Blanche in Toronto, Canada and is the Director and Curator of Exhibitions at the Illingworth Kerr Gallery at the Alberta College of Art and Design. Baerwaldt acted as Co-commissioner and Co-curator for the double award-winning production, The Paradise Institute, at the 49th Venice Biennale.
In this interview Baerwaldt talks about how he became a curator, what movements interest him and how he selects the artists for his shows.

Over the past thirty years Michael Eastman has produced a body of photography on many wide-ranging subjects. His work is in many collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the International Center of Photography in New York City, the Art Institute of Chicago and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Eastman has been the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts grant and has appeared in numerous publications including, Time Magazine, The New York Times, Life Magazine, American Photographer, and Communication Arts.

Eckart Hahn’s large acrylic paintings are surrealistic works that offer much room for association. He often deals with polarizing social issues without providing any clear answers.
Hahn and has made a name for himself internationally. He is represented by Pablo's Birthday in New York City, Galerie Eikelmann in Düsseldorf, Germany and Galerie Rothamel in Erfurt & Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Hahn will be exhibiting at the Museumquartier in Wien Austria in 2009

Art Interview Online Magazine is proud to introduce the realist works of Gary Stutler, first place winner of the Art Interview - 8th International Online Artists’ Competition. A native of Galesburg, Illinois, Stutler received his Bachelor of Arts from Knox College in 1977, followed by a Master of Fine Arts from UC-Davis in 1992, where he was a student of and the assistant to Wayne Thiebaud. Stutler is currently living and teaching in California.
